[friends] St. Christina of Tyre Mission -- Invitation to Open House 11/11 and Weekly Update

Dear Friends
 
Christ is in our midst!
 
Attached is the bulletin and prayer list from this past weekend. I have also
included a flyer for our open house that is coming up on Saturday November
11 from 2-6pm. After finding our new location we are finally ready to invite
everyone to celebrate the blessings God has given us. 
 
We will be having mini-concerts from our choir, tasty homemade snacks,
presentations on the Church, activities and crafts for kids, as well as
hosting Archangel Books bookstore from San Francisco.
 
If you are able, please join us. If you know of others who might be able to
come, please pass on the attached flyer.
 
Reminders:

*	Tonight (Thursday) at 7:30pm we will have our next Inquirer's Class.
This weeks topic is on the Fathers, the Saints, & the Theotokos.
*	This Saturday at 11:30 is our monthly project of preparing lunch at
the Tri-Cities Sunrise Village Homeless shelter. Everyone is welcome to come
and help. Contact Bonnie Prescop (tedap at comcast.net) for more information.
*	As I announced in church on Sunday and inlcuded in the bulletin we
are having a tastefully simple ( <http://www.tastefullysimple.com>
http://www.tastefullysimple.com) fellowship hour on Sunday. People will have
the opportunity to order some of the food and get their holiday shopping
underway. 20% of all procedes will go to St. Christina's.
*	This Sunday after fellowship hour we will be travelling around the
neighborhood and handing out flyers for our Open House next week. If you are
able, please stay and lend a hand so we can do it quickly.
*	Next Wednesday November 8 we will be celebrating the feast of the
Archangel Michael and the Synaxis of the Bodiless Powers with the singing of
the Akathist Hymn at 7pm.
