Dear Friends,
 
Attached is this past week's bulletin and prayer list. 
 
There is a lot going on in our beloved mission. 
 
This coming Sunday the fellowship hour and a bake sale is being sponsored by
the youth of our mission to raise funds for the Orthodox Church in America's
annual Christmas Stocking Project. It provides Christmas stockings to
thousands of children in orphanages, and hospitals in eastern Europe and
Mexico. Please come prepared to contribute to this worthy project. For more

After we have filled our tummies with all the goodies the kids have prepared
we will be having our annual Reports and Elections Assembly. All the reports
have been distributed to everyone. I have attached an additional copy to
this email for your convenience. Please take the time to review the reports
and prepare any questions you may have.
 
Other Reminders

*	Tonight (Friday) at 7:00 pm and Saturday at 9:00 am will be having
Great Vespers and Divine Liturgy for Demetrius Saturday. On this day we
remember all our departed fathers, mothers, and loved ones. Please come with
a list of the people you would like commemorated.
*	Our public lecture series at the Fremont public libary will begin on
Monday night at 7:30pm. Olga Dunlop will be presenting on the Icon in  the
Orthodox Church. I have attached the flyer which has the address and the
room name. Please pass it on to anyone who might be interested.
*	Next week our Inquirer's Class about the Church's Teachings will
continue on Tuesday at 7:30pm at the church. We will be discussing the role
of Scripture in the life of the Orthodox Church. 
*	Wednesday evening at 7:30pm will be our last adult education session
/bible study on Christ in the Psalms. We will be taking a couple week break
before we begin our next class which will be on Christ in the Prophecy of
Isaiah.
*	Saturday Oct 28 at 3:30pm our public lecture series at the Fremont
Library will continue with Lon Hacker discussing the Iconoclast Controversy
from an historical perspective.
