Dear Friends,
 
Christ is Risen! Indeed He is Risen!
 
As we move forward in the joy of our Lord's Resurrection life at St.
Christina's has been full.
 
In addition to the photo galleries on our own website, St. Christina's
joined other Orthodox parishes throughout North America and sending in
pictures for inclusion on the Orthodox Church in American website. We are
parish # 34 in the listing. If you have some time take a look at some of the
hundreds upon hundreds of celebrations that have taken place throughout

This Saturday, by the grace of God we were able to feed 77 people for lunch
at our monthly meal at the Tri-Cities Sunrise Village Homeless Shelter.
This Sunday, members from our mission and Holy Elevation Church in
Sacramento participated in the Bay Area Crop Walk. Our mission was asked to
lead the walk with our processional banners around Lake Merritt in Oakland.

We are running to the end of our Letter Drive for our friend Dr. Ariane and
the Troops in Iraq. Please bring you letters to church this Sunday so we can
send them on Monday. I have attached the most recent "report" to help you
write your letters. Just a reminder, the report includes notes and stories
from the troops themselves and is not always "g rated"
 
Our Konevets Quartet Concert is coming up this coming tuesday, May 1 at
7:30pm. Attached is the ticket order form and program ad/listing form.  All
information for ads and listings must be received by Saturday April 26. You
can fax or email the information directly to me (Fax: 925-215-1234, e-mail:
FrMichaelA at comcast.net) Payment can be be forthcoming. 
Please join us for this wonderful event that is drawing good interest from
the community and invite your friends to be with us as well.
