Dear Friends of St. Christina
 
We would like to offically invite all of you and your families to celebrate
our patronal feast day with us.
 
Services are:
Monday July 23 - 7:00pm Vigil followed by a light meal
Tuesday July 24 - 9:00am Meeting of the Bishop & Divine Liturgy followed by
a festal luncheon
 
We are blessed to have our beloved bishop, His Grace BENJAMIN with us for
both the Vigil and Divine Liturgy.
 
If you are able, it would be a great joy for us to have you with us on this
special day.
 
If you will be joining us, please RSVP so that we can plan accordingly.
 
As you know, finding a permanent location for our temple has been one of our
major hurdles. God has been incredibly gracious to us enabling us to find
our current location at 4511 Peralta Blvd. However, our time here is finite
and we are in the process of looking for a new home. As you know, real
estate costs in the Bay Area are astronomical. By the Grace of God, with the
committment of our members and the generosity of our friends we have been
able in 3 short years to develop a Building Fund which is currently around
15,000. This a wonderful start but is only a fraction of what we will need
to be able to purchase something.
 
As part of our celebration of our feast day we are holding a raffle to
benefit our building fund. We have printed a limitied number (200) of raffle
tickets and are selling them at $20 each. 
The cash prizes are:

Grand Prize $1000.00
First Prize $300.00
Second Prize $200.00
Third Prize $100.00

The drawing will take place by November 1st.

highly appreciated.
 
I pray we will see you on the 23rd or 24th, but if not please continue to
pray for us as we continue to seek to witness to the good news of Jesus
Christ here in the East Bay.
