[friends] Fun Events to get ready for Pascha & Weekly Bulletin and Prayer List

Dear Friends of St. Christina,
 
Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory forever!
 
I am pleased to announce two fun events coming up at St. Christina's to help
people with their Pascha preparations.

*	This Sunday March 25 from 12-4 we are holding an Easter Egg
"Pysanki" decorating Workshop for anyone who is interested in learning how
to decorate easter eggs in the ukrainian style with wax and dye.
*	On Sunday April 1st from 12-2 we are holding an Easter Bake Sale
featuring traditional ethnic foods such as the slavic Kulich and greek
easter breads. It is a wonderful way to add some tried and tested family
recipes to your easter basket.

The events are open to the public. I have attached a flyer. If you are able
please plan on joining us and spread the word to your friends who may be in
the area.
 
Also attached are our bulletin and up-to-date prayer list from this past
weekend.
 
Reminders for this week

*	Tonight at 7:30pm we will be holding our Adult Education Class on
Baptism and Chrismation
*	Wednesday at 7:00pm we will be celebrating the Liturgy of the
Presanctified Gifts follwed by a Lenten Potluck
*	Thursday at 7:00pm we will celebrate Matins with the Canon of St.
Andrew of Crete. For those who were not able to attend during the first week
of Great Lent, this is your chance to participate in this Canon that is one
of the keystones of Great Lent.
*	Friday at 7:00pm we will celebrate Matins with the singing of the
Akathist Hymn to the Theotokos.
*	Saturday evening at 6:00pm we will celebrate the Vigil for the Feast
of the Annunciation.
*	Sunday morning starting at 9:30am will be the Hours & Divine Liturgy
for the Feast.

Also, this Friday and Saturday we will be hosting youth from throughout the
Bay Area for an overnight lock-in and retreat and service project to help
the Alameda County Food Bank.
 
Please continue to pray that all we do here at St. Christina's is according
to the will of God and the glory of His Holy Name.
