Dear Friends,

Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory forever!

 

Last night's 1st-ever "Down Payment" Banquet and Silent Auction was a great
success!

Not only did everyone enjoy the tasty food, incredible entertainment, and
fellowship, but the silent auction did extremely well! We only have
preliminary numbers, so I will hold off until they are confirmed. However,
it is safe to say that, while we clearly have a "ways to go" before we will
be ready to start thinking about looking for a property to purchase, it was
a great step for us as a community as we look to the future.

It was also a blessing to have so many friends join us. Clergy from nearby
parishes and dear friends and family all came to support our humble
community.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to help make it such a successful
event!

 

Reminders:

.         This Tuesday at 7:00pm we will celebrate a Molieben to St. Tikhon
Enlightener of North America. Given the current issues facing our Orthodox
Church in America and the many temptations that confront us through this
time, I strongly encourage everyone to do what ever they can to attend this
service so that together we can pray to St. Tikhon to pray for our Church
and intercede for us.

.         This Tuesday at 7:30pm we will be starting our New Adult Education
Class - The Church of the Apostles

.         Fellowship Hour this coming Sunday will be a potluck

.         This Sunday we will also be hearing a presentation about the
Tri-Cities' Compassion Network during Fellowship Hour
