Dear Friends

 

Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory forever!

 

I to let you know that not much has changed with Bonnie Prescop. They don't
know much more than before and are holding off on the surgery they were
originally planning as they want to do more tests. There is a chance that
she may be discharged and allowed to return home either tonight or tomorrow.
It will be a blessing for her to be home with her birds and surrounded by
her family in a more comfortable environment. At this point all cards etc
should probably be sent to their home. 

Bonnie and Alex (and "the kids) are grateful for the ongoing expressions of
love and support and ask us to keep our prayers coming.

 

Also, I was informed today that there is a typo on the March calendar. On
the first Wednesday of Great Lent (March 12th) - the Liturgy of the
Presanctified Gifts will be celebrated at 9:30 AM not pm. (I have attached a
corrected calendar for anyone who would like to replace their existing one).

 

I also wanted to take this opportunity to remind you that we will be
celebrating a Memorial Saturday Divine Liturgy tomorrow at 9am. We will read
the names of our beloved who have departed this life before us in the hope
of the resurrection. If you would like your loved ones to be included by
name in the prayers please bring a list of their names to church with you
tomorrow morning.

 

Also, we are still planning on taking a "mission photo" on Sunday March 9th
of all our of members and friends who call St. Christina home in one way or
another. We will send this photo to Pamela Barksdale as a reminder of our
prayerful love for her and her mission work in Albania. We will also send it
to our national church headquarters for use as they try and raise funds for
the Church Planting Grant we receive and for our mission archives.
