[friends] Mission Update and Special Meeting Announcement

Dear Friends

 

Glory to Jesus Christ!

 

Attached is our weekly bulletin that can bring you all up to date on what is
happening at St. Christina's as well as our most recent prayer list.

 

As you know, we are in process of pursuing a potential property. We continue
to receive encouraging news about this possibility. However, an important
move such as this requires us all to seek God's will for our community as
well as His will for our own involvement and commitment to such a decision. 

 

We will be having a special meeting to discuss and possibly vote on whether
or not we choose to move there and what that would mean for our community as
well as for each of us. The meeting will be on Sunday July 13 after Divine
Liturgy. There is also a plan that has been proposed to facilitate the move
that was distributed this past Sunday and will be available at Church for
anyone who would like to review it.

 

We have also scheduled another viewing of the property on Sunday July 6 for
anyone was not able to make it to the previous one.

 

Please pray for our community as we face this wonderful and challenging time
in our mission's life.

North America and the Feast of SS Peter and Paul

.         St. Eugene's Youth Camp June 29-July 5

.         Sunday July 6 - Viewing of new property

.         Sunday July 13 - Parish Meeting about new property

.         Wednesday July 23 - 7pm Vigil for our Patronal Feast Day - St.
Christina of Tyre

.         Thursday July 24 - 7am Divine Liturgy for our Patronal Feast Day
