Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory forever!

 

Attached is our bulletin from this past weekend and an updated prayer list.

Monday evening was an event that many of us will always hold as one of the
most beautiful and powerful experiences of our life. Nearly 100 people,
including 7 priests from the Bay Area,  came together at our humble mission
to pray for our sister in Christ Bonnie (Magdalene) Prescop in the Sacrament
of Holy Unction. God's love living in hearts of those who attended was
overwhelming. Let us continue our prayers for her as well as Alex, Ted,
Julie Mary and their entire family in the days ahead.

 

Some reminders for this week and next week:

.         Tonight (Wednesday) at 7:00pm we will celebrate the Liturgy of the
Presanctified Gifts followed by a Lenten potluck meal.

.         Thursday evening at 7:00pm we will continue our Orthodox
Christianity 101 Class on the topic of what the Orthodox Church believes
about the Eucharist/Divine Liturgy. 

.         Friday evening at 7:00pm we will celebrate the Liturgy of the
Presanctified Gifts at Holy Cross Monastery in Castro Valley followed by a
Lenten potluck (see calendar for the exact address.) 

.         Monday March 24 at 7:00pm we will celebrate the Vigil service for
the Feast of Annunciation

.         Tuesday March 25 at 7:00pm we will celebrate Vespers and the
Divine Liturgy for the Feast of Annunciation

.         Wednesday March 26 at 7:00pm we will celebrate the Liturgy of the
Presanctified Gifts followed by a Lenten potluck meal.

.         Thursday March 27 evening at 7:00pm we will continue our Orthodox
Christianity 101 Class on the topic of what the Orthodox Church understands
Worship. 

.         Friday evening March 28 at 7:00pm we will sing the Akathist Hymn
to the Cross

.         Saturday March 29 at 6:00pm we will celebrate the Vigil service
for the Sunday of the Holy Cross
