Dear Friends,

 

Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory forever!

 

As I had mentioned in an earlier email we have heard that some of our
members on this list had not been receiving our e-mails. There was some
issue with Comcast , bouncing our emails. It may be connected to Comcast's
spam protection efforts. If possible, please add the
friends at stchristinaorthodox.org to your mailbox and/or safe senders list.
This may help prevent this in the future.

 

This Sunday was  a feast! With four priests and the excellent sermon given
by Fr. Dan Skvir, our humble mission felt a bit like a cathedral! From what
I heard our e-scrip drive was also successful. 5 or 6 people signed up on
Sunday. And all the coffee to benefit Raphael House was purchased. Anyone
who has not picked up their coffee can do so this coming week.

 

Attached is our bulletin and updated prayer list.  We are in the process of
putting together our April calendar and will be getting that to you this
coming week. In the mean time, you can always check our online calendar,
which we try very hard to keep up to date.

 

Reminders for this week:

.         Monday at 7:00pm (tonight) we will celebrate the Vigil for the
Feast of Annunciation

.         Tuesday at 7:00pm (yes, PM) we will celebrate the Vespers and
Divine Liturgy for the Feast of Annunciation

.         Wednesday at 7:00pm we will celebrate the Liturgy of the
Presanctified Gifts

.         Thursday at 7:00pm we will have our Orthodox Christianity 101
class on the Holy Sacraments/Mysteries

.         Friday at 7:00pm we will sing the Akathist hymn to the Holy Cross

.         Saturday at 6:00pm rather than having just Great Vespers we will
celebrate the Vigil for the Sunday of the Cross.
